StockPodium donates to the Japanese Red Cross 10% of the sale price of all Japan Relief related images marked with our "camera with a heart" icon. This money comes from the commission StockPodium normally receives from selling images and is our small contribution to the Japanese people in these difficult times.
Japan is experiencing it’s worst days since World War II. A 9.0 magnitude earthquake, 10 meter tsunami and nuclear crisis in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant have devastated parts of the country. A great country in a great need!
You can help a lot in our efforts to make a small contribution to resolving this crisis. If you need a creative image that illustrates any of the current emerging problems we kindly ask you to download some of our images marked with the "camera with a heart" icon. That way 10% of the download price will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross. Thank you!

It’s hard to stay calm and indifferent when people around the globe are suffering! The compassion in our hearts is what makes us human. It awaits to be unleashed and change the world - “make it better place for you and for me”, as it’s sung in a popular song.
Even now, while still making our first steps in the world of stock photography, we know we can help this change happen. That’s why we decided to introduce our StockCharity initiative!
From now on selected images in StockPodium related to some current or emerging problems and challenges (both global and local) will be marked with our special icon - camera with a heart. For every download of such an image with that icon we shall donate 10% of the price to a trusted charity devoted to solving the challenge or the problem.
That way every time you download a picture that illustrates the problem you become part of the solution!
The great tragedy in Japan was the trigger for this initiative and we will continue to keep a close eye on the topics that concern our well being as humanity and reflect them in StockCharity campaigns. We truly believe that even a small act of giving and compassion can make a big difference! We need you to join us and spread the word as it is in giving that we receive most!
