What is StockPodium?

StockPodium is an online marketplace for stock images which aims to help photo contributors (photographers, artists, etc.) easily sell their collections and customers (creative agencies, freelance designers, bloggers) discover the photos even easier so all of them concentrate on what they do best - create!

How does StockPodium work?

Currently we offer advanced search capabilities for finding stock images using text and visual search. If you find an image you have to buy credits in order to buy it. All images in our search results are right managed and have strict distribution licenses.

How can I search for stock images?

There are different approaches you can use to best suite your personal preferences:

• Key word (phrase) search - simply type in proper key words and hit Find It! button to see what we can offer
• Choose visually promising image among the results of keyword search. You can start with keyword search and then click on the similar ~ link bellow the image that visually looks similar to what you are looking for. In result, you get more appropriate results. If you are still not pleased with the search results, you can and/change keywords or even choose another image as visual base.
• Type or paste URL of an image as visual search query or filter. This can be suitable if you have found an image on the web that is appropriate for your needs, but its license does not allow commercial usage. StockPodum will find similar images with the right licensing
• Upload an image to use for visual search - handy when you have a reference or sample image to start the search with

Do i need to register to use the search options?

You do not need to register to search for images. If you register you will get some extra features that you can get advantage of - for example put selected images in lightboxes for further use.

Why do you need my e-mail for the Sing Up form?

On sign up we ask for e-mail in order to validate your account and be able to restore your log in information in case you forget your password or user name. We will never give access to your private data to third parties.

What is a lightbox?

Lightbox is an industry standard name for a image folder where you can collect pictures you like or pictures related to certain project. This might be very helpful if you:

• work on several projects at the same time - you can separately store images for each of the projects
• need to save images for later consideration

Is my lightbox public?

Other users or search engines cannot see your private lightboxes. If you make a lightbox public, then it will be indexed and everybody can see it and enjoy your image sellections.

Troubleshooting

I can't log in to my StockPodium account. What should I do?

Make sure you are not behind firewall that is blocking your outgoing information. Check if the browser you use to access StockPodium has cookies enabled. Password field on the log in screen is case sensitive so make sure cap locks is off when you type in your password. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator for further investigation.

I lost my password. How can I recover it?

Use Forgot my password? link on the Sign In screen to recover your password. You will be prompted for the e-mail, with which you created your account. We will send you password recovery message with link to change your password. Make sure to check your mail account within 24 hours as after that the password recovery process will be terminated.

How can I delete my StockPodium account?

Go to Profile --> Settings and choose Delete my profile option. You will be asked to confirm one more time. Your profile will be deleted within 24 hours. We will keep track of your activities even you have deleted your account for legal reasons.
